Ahh!! It’s almost here! So I’ve finally packed. Ok, so I started packing as soon as I booked my flight- guilty. Having never been to this part of the world before, I was a little baffled on what to bring. I knew that the weather was warm, the culture was relaxed, and the people were modest, but still I was clueless on where to start. I also knew that most people pack the minimum for this kind of vacation. My travel buddy, Jenn, even asked me if I was going to check a bag!? How could I not? Truth be told, I was trying to figure out how not to check two 🙂 After reading blogs, scrolling through Pinterest, and watching video upon video, I think I have nailed my version of packing for SE Asia.
What I’m Bringing (for 17 days and 3 countries):
Clothes:
- 13 Tops (combo of sleeveless and short sleeved)
- 2 Skirts

I’m sure some of the things I’m bringing are unnecessary and I know that I’ll land and realize I forgot something. But all in all, I feel good about this list.
Now to get through a 23 hour flight…
I am so excited for your travels. As a traveler myself… I HAVE DEFINITELY packed too much before… picture it: small, winding cobblestone roads in Seville, Spain with my LARGE rolling suitcase amongst other things, trying not to knock over the intense row of domino esque motos… and Abasi laughing at me, the seasoned traveler he was at this point. WOMP WOMP! It doesn’t matter, you could pack too much or too little, as long as you come home with extra baggage of GREAT MEMORIES AND EXPERIENCES!
lol. You live and you learn! That’s what travel is all about. And I’ve definitely saved room for those memories 🙂
Fab! Just a few things:
1. Your dog is cuuuuuute!
2. I need that anchor sweater and that second pair of sandals…seriously!
3. I still don’t know how you packed all that in such a small, even after watching you pull it all out.
4. I am gonna be following your travels & look forward to living vicariously through you! 😀 Have an amazing time. <3
Haha! I hope you are enjoying England by the way 🙂 Can’t wait to catch all you girls up on my travels!!!
You are my hero for packing all of that stuff in that bag! I’m certainly archiving this video so I can use those packing tips on my next trip. I have the ability to pack light, but I rather not so I don’t have to reduce my fabulosity while traveling. Lol!
But I wish you safe travels and sanity (for that long flight!). I look forward to your future posts during your trip! <3
Hey Iman! I don’t know how I did it either, but it zips 🙂 And I plan on adding to my fabulosity while I’m there as well…the shopping is supposed to be amazing <3
I packed an entire duffle bag for my trip and still came in over weight. I’m really curious about the rolling of cloths. Great job packing!
Question for you, are there any mosquitoes there? I know sun screen is #1 but nasty bug bites can be tough too.
Im looking forward to traveling the world with you from home. Your on your way to making awesome memories!
